Four Courts Lecture


The Courts Centenary Commemoration Committee continues its lecture series with a talk titled ‘Scrambling for the bones of the Patriot Dead’ – Commemorating the Rising 1916-2016. 

The lecture, which will take place on Thursday 25th February 2016 at 5 p.m. in the Round Hall, Four Courts, Inns Quay, 
Dublin, will explore how 1916 has been commemorated over the last 100 years. The speaker will be Professor Diarmaid Ferriter of University College Dublin.  

Éamonn Ceannt Commemoration 

"Éamonn Ceannt, the Piper: Cultural Politics in early 20th Century Ireland": A bi-lingual event with the Dublin Pipers' Club. Members of Ná Píobairí Uilleann will perform traditional airs and tunes with an accompanying presentation on the history of the Dublin Pipers' Club and Ná Píobairí Uilleann.
