A History of Usher's Weaving Mill

A History of Usher's Weaving Mill, Greenhills, Drogheda, 1836 - 1993.

This book is an extensive history of the weaving industry on this site since 1836. It tells the story of the various owners of the factory down through the years. It contains first hand memories from former employees covering the different aspects of the weaving industry. There are hundred's of interesting photographs throughout the publication. This is a comprehensive study on one of the oldest industries of Drogheda's past.

Hundred's of Drogheda Families found employment in Ushers Mill down through the years and their descendants will find the results of this project fascinating.

Pre-Booking

Pre-Booking a publication means booking & paying for the book before you see it. The publication is then collected on the day of the book-launch.

All my books to date have been of a very high quality and the Usher's story will be the same. This is necessary in order to generate cash to be used as a deposit for printing.

Maybe you would consider pre-booking.

Thank You,
Richard Gerrard
